Robert Peel founded of Lioncrest in 2000.

After seven years military service with the Army Air Corps, he changed careers and joined Holland & Holland in 1988. He started in the London Gunroom then moved to the shooting school and underwent a year's training under the keen eye of the Chief Instructor, Ken Davies before joining the instructing team.

Robert worked at the Holland & Holland Shooting Grounds for eleven years instructing men, women and children of all ages and skills, from the novice to the experienced. He was involved in numerous gun-fittings for clients who were ordering Holland & Holland guns and rifles or just checking their existing gun-fit. He also spent a lot of time on the rifle range with clients planning to stalk in this country and abroad.

He represented Holland & Holland (in the USA) on a variety of events ranging from instructional trips to Virginia and Wyoming to the setting up and running the shooting activity for the launch of the Discovery 2 for Land-Rover USA in Colorado.

During his last five years with Holland & Holland, Robert helped manage the Holland & Holland shoots in the West Country, as well as loading and instructing on the grouse moors of Yorkshire and Scotland.

Robert has gained an enormous amount of knowledge and expertise over the past few years organising trips for individuals and teams.  During those years, he has developed a bespoke service specially designed to cater for all the requirements of the visiting sportsman/woman.
